Mid-Summer Update

A note to let you know where I am these days.  About half way through my summer here in America.  Recharging a bit of the vision that I had picked up here.

Spent two weeks with Medicine Wheel Productions in South Boston. - http://www.mwponline.org/

Now busy with a metal work class and a woodworking intensive at 3rd Ward, in Brooklyn. - https://www.3rdward.com/

Heading out the Seattle, and then some time in the Bay.  Plan to spend some good time at The Crucible - http://www.thecrucible.org/ - while I'm there. 

Been thinking about how to put this on the ground in a strong way, without need for outside funding.   Have some good ideas brewing, I believe.  I think we're looking for a smaller footprint first - teaching woodshop, pro woodshop, metal shop - some classrooms that can find their purpose, some open space, and a cafe.  Great would be to have some living spaces attached or nearby.

Holon would be a good place to keep an eye out, I believe.  Is there any Industrial space on the edge of domestic/commercial space, somewhere near the design centers of Holon?

Anybody check out the new space in Jaffo, or the screen printers?  How about the glass blowers in Givatayim?  Would love to hear how those gigs are going.
