I agree with the feedback here. The basement is overpriced.
The outdoor space doesn't work for a full workshop. There's no place for heavy machinery, and weather will be an issue summer and winter.
The outdoor space could work for particular activities though - and we should think about whether we want to get involved in those, or pass it along to another group.
I'm thinking particularly about things like:
- building arts (mud building, straw bale, concrete, earth bag, etc.)
- urban gardening
- solar energy experiments / training
- aquaponics
- rainwater collection / urban wetlands
Again - not the full vision of the workshop, but perhaps a good use of the space available here. Anyone we know who would want to be involved an effort like that? at 1000 NIS a month rent, it shouldn't be hard to recoup expenses with classes...
