Hello people! Ive been trying to set up amplitube 5 with zoom to give lessons. I own a focusrite scarlett 212 and a sm57 microphone. I wanted my students to listen to my voice through the microphone and the guitar tone coming from amplitube, but I havent figured out how to set it up. Ive only found videos online setting it up on a MAC. I have a PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I used amplitube 3 for all my early recordings and live one time, it is pretty good in the mix, but when played alone, you can hear the strange compression effect when playing high volumes (the plasticky-line6-like sound). Otherwise, sounds good on recording and it is maybe the most intuitive interface for actual musicians that do amps and recording. Also you can always use your own IRs and the sound is pretty convincing, just the dynamics are not greatly different between amps.
