Great carrier but did not fit - too big!

1) I originally purchased the Ergo carrier and loved the comfort of wearing it. I started carrying baby in this around 4 months (we used and loved the Baby K'tan Breeze when she was a newborn.) However, I thought baby may enjoy facing forwards while worn on front. After I heard that you could do this with the Pikkolo, I returned the Ergo and purchased this one.
2) When the Pikkolo carrier arrived, I was equally impressed with the padding of the shoulders and the aesthetic appearance. It was incredibly similar to the Ergo in terms of quality. I also ordered the support belt for the waist because I liked that feature of the Ergo.
3) Time to try it on! I put together the comfort belt on the carrier; it was kind of awkward - not as easy as having it built in like the Ergo. I go to tighten the belt around the waist, and I'm pulling and pulling and the belt is bunching and bunching. It is too big! I'm a size 4, and the belt was not made for me. In order to tighten it enough to support the baby, it ended up bunching up around my waist rendering it useless.
4) I end up returning the Pikkolo and repurchasing the Ergo. I would say they would be equal in comfort and quality; as much as I wanted to love the Pikkolo for the flexibility to wear baby front-facing, it was too big for me. :( That being said, I love my Ergo. :)
