International English Language Testing System, known as IELTS is an international standardized test to assess the English language proficiency of a non-native English speaker.

Candidate who applies for the study purpose, appears for the IELTS Academic,  while applicant applies for the immigration purpose, appears for the IELTS General. Candidates get IELTS result based on their performance in 4 modules namely, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The IELTS score rates from band 1 to band 9.
