Dear Sierra Club member or friend -

It's not too late to decide to attend this elegant little event!
 

The event has been organized to provide community leaders, like yourself, with engaging, compelling information regarding Tule Springs. See the flyer that appears below.

 

With legislation to make the Tule Springs area a national monument nearing, we have arranged for Steve Rowland of UNLV to provide talking points on the significance of Tule Springs and for Rick Velotta, business/tourism reporter of the Las Vegas Sun to provide an overview of what this means for economic diversity in our area.

Dr. Stephen Rowland of UNLV Geosciences will present information on the unique and scientifically significant fossil and geologic resources in the Upper Las Vegas Wash, and Richard Velotta, Business Reporter for the Las Vegas Sun, will discuss the opportunities for economic and business development associated with the planned monument.  The Tule Springs Coalition invites you to attend to learn more about the unprecedented movement to make a new national park in our own backyard, and the economic and quality of life benefits it will bring to our community.
