Hi, all -

      You are invited!

      But you have to choose:

  1.  The Sierra Club is hosting a major event with the Moapa Band of Paiutes at 1 pm at the Paiute Travel Plaza at exit 75 off I-15, 25 miles north of the Speedway. Allison Chin, the president of the Sierra Club, will be with us for this event. We want lots of people for the Indian drummers and round dance, the TV and newspaper cameras, to drive home the message that solar power trumps dirty coal.

 2.  The Club also has a table reserved at the GreenFest at UNLV. They are expecting 10,000 people there this year!!

Can you reply back to me if you can help out at the table at UNLV?

It would be great if you can join in at the Travel Plaza and the 1.5 mile hike to the solar project site on the Moapa Reservation at 1pm. But if you want to stay in town, we need help at the UNLV event, too.

The festival
at UNLV
runs from 11-6.
We need lots of people!

There are already 2 people who will help set up at 11.
 I
especially
need someone from 5-6
pm
who can pack up and return the Club materials either to me at my home or the Club office during weekly office hours. The festival will supply tables and shade.
The So NV Group registered and paid for the space a few weeks ago already. To find the Club table, it usually it works best to find 'vendor check in" - they sometimes change placement at the last minute, so even if we are told ahead of time where our table is, there might be a change.

The map is here.

Thank you so much for everything that you do
to take care of the environment
.
