Hi, all -

December 14th 6pm at Blue Diamond rec hall.

Ed and Desiree have been attending the meetings out at Blue Diamond for over a year now. It's been a pretty tough road - Rhodes just doesn't seem to get it.

Greetings,

Last night I spoke to several Blue Diamond residents about Wednesday's meeting with Susan Brager allowing construction access to Gypsum Resource.  We believe it is the utmost importance that everyone who loves Red Rock, uses it for recreation and relaxation and sees it as a So Nevada treasure to be there Wednesday night to show your support. I completely agree with the Blue Diamond folks. NOW is the time for everyone who loves Red Rock to fight and show support. Jim Rhodes may have a lot of money but we can show our support in record numbers. A show is the number of people who support saving Red Rock is greater than Jim Rhodes bank account. This is not about the town of Blue Diamond. Jim Rhodes wealth and influence cannot compete with the 200 or so people that live in this town. If you care at all about Red Rock, then you will be at that meeting Wednesday night.

As far as SNG is concerned, this is not a Ed or Desiree issue for them to handle alone. This is a So Nevada issue that deserves the attention of the entire city and the most recognized environemental not-for-profit in the world. The majority of the folks that live in Las Vegas say "Too hard to fight a millionaire in this town. Jim  Rhodes will get what he wants and always will". If this is how you fell then don't show up for the meeting but if you are willing to fight for our beauty then BE THERE!

December 14th 6pm at Blue Diamond rec hall.

Spread the word.

Thank you
Desiree Saporito
