Announcing SolarNV's 2011
Solar Home Tour!

November 5, 2011 10am-4pm

Location: Various homes around the valley. This is a self-guided tour.

The American Solar Energy Society's National Solar Tour is the world's largest grassroots solar event. This event offers you the opportunity to tour innovative green homes and buildings to see how you can use solar energy, energy efficiency and other sustainable technologies to reduce monthly utility bills and help tackle climate change. More than 160,000 participants will visit some 5,500 buildings in 3,200 communities across the U.S. If you have more questions about the tour please visit our FAQ page.

  • $5 per car for current members, students, high-mileage hybrid and alternative vehicles.
  • $10 per car for the tour.
  • $25 Solar NV membership with entry for one vehicle for the home tour. (Best Value!)

Volunteers will assist homeowners with sharing information about the house and guiding tour participants.
 
A special note: Solar NV is looking for nominations for new Board members by the November meeting. If you would like to volunteer to serve on the board of directors for Solar NV, please email or call 507-0093 and leave a message.

 

Solar NV is the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Solar Energy Society and is a 501(c)3 non profit organization.  The mission of Solar NV is to educate the public regarding the benefits of renewable energy, to promote the use of renewable energy and sustainable energy technologies, and to function as a clearinghouse and local resource for renewable energy information.
