The Sierra Club has not yet developed talking points on this proposal, mostly because the proposal document is huge. The session that Launce is hosting will give us a chance to learn some of the specifics, and get closer to developing some talking points, for us as individuals as well as for the Club.

What is the future of the Nevada Test Site? Your voice will help decide!

Attend an informational meeting Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. to learn more about the Test Site Environmental Impact Statement, what is happening on the site now, and what are the options for the future of the former site of above-ground nuclear weapons testing.

The informational meeting is in preparation for the Sept. 20 hearing on the EIS to be held in Las Vegas and later in the week at other sites in Nevada and Utah. The informational meeting will be at the Sierra Club offices, 708 S. 6th St., in downtown Las Vegas.
