This speaker is small, lightweight and portable and the water resistance is a plus factor for outdoor use!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1YNH458BELOHY This is a nicely designed and highly portable Bluetooth speaker. It only weights 4 3/8 ounces. It comes with an auxiliary cable that is 40 inches long so you can connect it to a non-Bluetooth enabled device and play your music. The ends of the cable have 3.5 mm stereo jacks. It also comes with a charging cable that is 10 ½ inches long. The charging cable has a USB jack on one end and a Micro USB jack on the other so you can charge this speaker with your computer or with any USB AC wall charging source. There is a brief instruction manual.
This speaker is water resistant to IPX4 which means that it can withstand water droplets and light splashing water for 5 minutes. The speaker is not made to have a jet of water directly onto it but splashing water and light rain is OK. This speaker contains a Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery that can charge in 2 to 3 hours. When the battery is fully charged it
will play music for up to 10 hours. The speaker is covered in a rubber coating and the area where the auxiliary port and charging plug goes into has a rubber flap that goes over them to seal out water. Remember to close it when in wet areas and also remember that if you are charging the speaker or using the auxiliary port that the speaker is not water resistant.
The speaker has a nice rubber loop on the top that you can use to hang the speaker. I show how to pair the speaker and it only took a few seconds to do this and I did not need any access code. The sound output quality was very good with adequate treble and base. The output volume was good for the size of the speaker. Remember to have the volume turned up on your smart device to make sure that you have adequate output volume from the speaker. Both the speaker volume and the smart device volume are interactive and both have to be turned up.
The Bluetooth range between my iPhones 4 and the speaker was
excellent. The specification calls for 33 feet basically line of sight and in my test I was over 45 feet away and shooting through 2 walls without any issues at all. The speaker also has a built in microphone and it allows you to make and receive phone calls hands free. If you are listening to music and you get a phone call you can quickly press the multifunction button and accept the call and hear the caller over the speaker and they can hear you. This feature worked very well. I show this in the video. When your call is over the music resumes right where it paused automatically.
This speaker is small, lightweight and portable and the water resistance is a plus factor for outdoor use. It is good for outdoors use but do not drop it into the pool or into the ocean. I like this product a lot and it works well. I rated it as a 5 star item.

Good quality but lacks an important feature

Product was great quality, but you cannot change/skip songs from this device...you would have to get out of the shower and do it from your phone. I ended up exchanging it for a different product.

I would be giving this product 5 stars because it is a great speaker. Sound quality is awesome. But I like my purchases to keep working for a long time. I will be looking for a product that has an extensive guarantee.
