Blackberry HS-700 bluetooth headset

Just got this via MAILPAC . Pairing was simple enough and a few test calls produced acceptable audio on both ends . The audio streaming from my Bold 9000 to the unit was nice but the audio was'nt rich as opposed to a wired headset.
NOTE :
1.when a call is received the automated voice reads out the number which in my opinion is annoying because you ca'nt set it to either read out the number or set it to ring in your ears
2. like the HS 500 and HS 300 before it ,the voice call feature is absolutely useless while driving . It only works if you speak very very very slowly which defeats the purpose of actually using the headset
3.the " voice command button " is on the base of the unit. How is this practical while driving ?. Trying to press this tiny button while driving is by no means safe.
4.prospective buyers beware ! try not to break the over the ear hook because the only way to get another one is to buy a headset , it's not sold separately
anywhere ! trust me I've checked .
I'm now even more convinced that RIM is basically set for a downfall compared to iOS and Android .
As time goes on I'll provide updates on performance and reliablity .

It's good, but...

I love the sound quality and the talk time but the voice commands do not work for me. I been trying since I got the device with no luck. It's like it doesn't here me, it ask me to try again in the middle of my sentence. I've tried talking loud, low, high pitch, low pitch, windows up, windows down, radio on/off but nothing works. None of the ear pieces are perfect but I have found one I can live with. The reason I keep this bluetooth is because of the sound quality and the talk time, if either of these were bad I would have sent it back.

pretty good with some tweaking

it sounds great, both for me and whoever i'm talking to. the one "issue" was finding the proper combination of doohickeys to get it to fit in my ear securely (i've got big ears). the fact that there were plenty of loops and other things to work with was great, it just took some trial and error, which i don't mind since i can now pop it in and not worry about it moving around, let alone falling out. i still haven't mastered all the technical and hands-free features, but having tried them out they're pretty kewl.
