Should have bought five of these when the price was lower. Still a good value.

I purchased a Magic Cube to stream music from my iPod Touch at my office, and I figured that for the price, even if the sounds wasn't great it would still be better than the iPod's built in speaker. Now my only regret is that I didn't buy a couple more when the price was lower.
The current price is still very reasonable, so don't let that stop you. But more importantly, this speaker sounds amazing, virtually indistinguishable from much more expensive speakers I've found at big box stores and electronics shops. You won't be replacing your home theatre's 7.1 or 5.1 speaker system, but if you just need something small and portable to fill up a room with good sound, this speaker is perfect. In fact I have a store bought speaker in my bedroom that cost three times as much and I honestly can't hear enough of a difference to justify the additional expense.
The Magic Cube speaker is a little larger than I had expected (3.5" on each side), which is good, because
it's just large enough to produce good sound while still being very compact. Lower bass and sub-bass frequencies don't project well, but mid-bass, mid, and high frequencies sound excellent. The speaker has a little bit of weight which makes it feel durable and a padded bottom to keep it from sliding around on smooth surfaces like a desk or countertop.
At any rate, I went ahead and bought a second Magic Cube for my kitchen, and I'll probably buy a couple more for my kids if the price stays low. Absolutely recommended!

Bought 2 and compared them

The other one was a $20 speaker from radio shack. The magic cube sounded significantly better for the same price.. In addition, the magic cube has volume buttons which is nice in my office. I use this with Jango internet radio. This speaker is a cinch to set up and charge. It is much cooler looking than the smaller radio shack speaker.
