The Bass is AMAZING

I actually bought this speaker system at Costco, not on Amazon, but since it doesn't seem to have any reviews posted, I figured I'd let you all know if it's worth it.
YES!!! I LOVE my Bose speakers. I actually have my computer hooked up to a 56" TV, and am using the TV as my monitor for my computer from across the room. I needed speakers that sound like professional home theater systems, and this does the job. It's amazing how tiny the left & right speakers are, yet do such an amazing job! And the bass.... I can't say enough about it! It is soooooo good! I actually have to set it to it's lowest setting, because it's so strong. On the volume control pod are two inputs: one goes to your audio source (in my case, my computer's headphones jack), and the other can be left alone, or if you want to plug in actual headphones, you can. I will do that when I'm trying to watch something late at night and the hubby's sleeping, so I'll connect a very long headphone's jack into
that plug, and the sound is still amazing. It beats having to fiddle with anything at the back of a computer, etc.

Give them FULL-RANGE audio

I was less then impressed with this system until I changed some settings in Windows. Open Control Panel, select hardware and sounds and open audio manager. Turn off all sound effect and select 2.1 speaker configuration and select Full-range speakers. After the changes I was blown away! They sound amazing. I think it would be the same for a TV, you would need to select Full-Range speakers. Because the speakers look small its tempting to select surround speakers in the settings, but you need to give the system Full-range audio. I removed the stands and placed the speakers behind my monitors and the sound projects nicely underneath my screens. I'm very happy with this system. The only negative side would be the price, but you get what you pay for on this one.

ASTOUNDING SOUND FOR PC SPEAKERS!

i've heard brand name, specialized and, specially, OVERPRICED,equipment that can't hold a candle to this system!
the clarity of sound and the detail in it blew me away..as my nickname suggests it, I AM A JAZZFREAK, so all you JZFRKs out there know how important it is to be able to tell a guitar from a piano...kidding aside, the nuances of every instrument are clearly and nicely defined. would absolutely recommend to all music lovers out there... NJOY! ;)
