I use Keepass 1.10 at home with Windows XP and independently on USB stick but the PC at work, but I can't open the unzipped Keepass.zip on USB stick at work, running Ubuntu. I have KeePassX onn PC at work but I want to be able to access the KeePass(X) database from the stick when at work.

However, at work, I have Ubuntu and can use KeePassX but would like to use KeePass on the USB stick only and not using the main PC. Unfortunately, Ubuntu won't let me open the KeePass.exe file - saying there is no associated files on PC (or something to that effect) I was hoping the KP exe file would run independently of the operating system.

I want to open the db using an .exe file and db on the USB stick attached to Ubuntu PC, ie not using the application 'installed' on Ubuntu and having to copy the db file to hard drive (can't access the USB stick from KPx on Ubuntu for some reason - if I could, that would solve the problem).

Can you see the USB stick at all in Ubuntu (I have to ask the really dumb questions)?
Can you copy files to and from the USB stick? How?
When you open KPx, how do you attempt to open the database on the USB stick?
As much detail as possible please?

However, when saving to or opening certain applications, I only have access to the home folder and not directly to the server. In these cases, I have to copy the file I want, ie KPx Db, onto the hard drive of the PC where I can 'see' it having opened the applications. Alternatively, in Ubuntu, I can open KPx and open the Db if it is either on the hard drive or server, but it doesn't see the USB stick at all in this situation.

So, when I open KPx application on Ubuntu, I can't see the USB drive with the memory stick plugged in, although it shows on the tree. So, I can't access the Db on the USB stick. I can only access the db if it is copied onto the hard drive or server. I would really prefer not to have the db file on the work computer, and to be able to read the db directly from the USB stick.

The machine I installed it to is my old laptop, an HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC, its Born On Date is 04/October/2014, the original OS was Windows 8.1. All USB ports are USB 2.0. The Ubuntu bootable USB stick I use is also USB 2.0, I purposely selected USB 2.0 for bootable USB stick.

Hass, runs well, but it never detects my AEON labs Gen-5 stick.
I thought that sticks where recognized by a Linux system, or am i wrong here ?
Also i managed to get Python 3.5 installed, updated Hass and this i was celibrating, with a great non alcohol beer

How can I create a UBS STICK with the ISO Ubuntu is offering, make it bootable on the same mac book pro 2015, such that it is becomes visible when pressing alt/option on a reboot? (It looks like I am failing to create a fat32 based stick and get it running with EFI.)

Step 4: Click on the Make Startup Disk, and then it will ask for confirmation. Once you do that, the writing process will start, and you should see the progress bar. Once complete, you will have Ubuntu on a USB stick, bootable and ready to go.

It is currently impossible to manually upgrade a Tails USB stick while running from itself. This scenario requires creating an intermediary Tails on another USB stick, from which to upgrade your Tails.

If you worry that the files in your PersistentStorage could be used to link your activities together, consider using a different Tails USB stick for each activity. For example, use one Tails USB stick for your activism work and another onefor your journalism work.
