What is the percent change achieved in pitch for every percent change in speed. I am looking for an equation that help me compensate the pitch for changes in different speeds 50%. I could only manage a crude table to get near perfect original soundtrack (I know tempo does this too, in a way).
This issue leaves most of the volume slider useless, with the audio clips already being silent at 50%. My question is: How do I scale a percentage onto the audio mixer to make the slider sound more linear?
Before I get into the details of my query I should point out that I know nothing about audio, so please do be gentle in your replies, what may seem as common knowledge understanding could well be lost on myself.
When it comes to changing the audio in the game, I can increase a floating point value, so, lets say the volume starts at 1, I could change it to 1.5f, this would be half as loud again, from my (inexperienced) perspective, a 50% rise in volume.
Cuomo: "On the vaccinations, we've done 2.5 million total doses to date. That means about 10 percent of all New Yorkers have received one dose. We're at about 92 percent of allocated first doses. So, we're going week to week, as we've discussed on the allocation. And the whole question is the supply. You now have about 10 million New Yorkers waiting on 300,000 doses. Big question on the call with the White House coordinator, by the governors, is supply, supply, supply. When will the supply increase? The supply will really only increase when and if Johnson & Johnson is approved. The Pfizer, Moderna vaccines are ramping up but the ramp-up is relatively slow, so we won't see a major supply increase from Pfizer and Moderna, nowhere near what we would need to make rapid progress against the 10 million. Johnson & Johnson would be a major and significant increase in production, but that's over the next two weeks."
Cuomo: "The White House did announce a 5 percent increase in vaccine allocation and again announced a three-week projection for that allocation, so the allocation will go up about 5 percent to the state and that will be true for three weeks. The 5 percent increase doesn't sound like much but remember, that's on top of the first announcement which was 16 percent increase, then the second announcement of 5 percent, so this is a third announcement of 5 percent - 16, plus 5, plus 5, so over the past 3 weeks it has been relatively significant. Again, not proportionate to the need but that has been helpful."

The White House did announce a 5 percent increase in vaccine allocation and again announced a three-week projection for that allocation, so the allocation will go up about 5 percent to the state and that will be true for three weeks. The three weeks is a big deal from a planning point of view because the State did not know what they were getting next week literally until a couple of days before. We would then turn around and tell the counties and then the counties would say, well, I had no notice. I know because I had no notice, but the three-wee projection actually helps that.

The federal government also announced that they would directly allocate to some, what they call federally qualified community health centers in the state, and that allocation would be above and beyond the State allocation and that would be a direct allocation from the federal government. They're doing a million nationwide, but that should be a couple of extra percent. It doesn't go through the State. It goes directly to the federally qualified community health centers. The federal government also runs a program directly to the pharmacies which was announced last week, so you have the State allocation, you then have on top of that a federal program that goes directly to the pharmacies, this week they added a federal program that goes directly to FQCHCs, and you had pre-existing a federal program that provided the vaccines to the nursing homes through pharmacies. So it gets complicated - you have the State-run program, then federal program to pharmacies, then federal program to pharmacies for nursing homes, and now a federal program to the community health centers - four levels for those of you who are tracking it.
And I also find if game is on background, the music will paused but the Percentage still increase.so this event is actually useless on Android.
Hope you can check and solve this Problem.
And,except this, how can I get position of an audio?
OK,To Test this issue,I build a simple scene.
I begin play audio immediately when the Widget is constructed.
On Windows, Time caculated by OnAudioPlaybackPercent is the same of the Time caculated by Event Tick.:
When Audio APOs crash at least 10 times consecutively, the Audio service disables the APO's further usage in order for the suer to have an error free sound experience. This may result in our Audio Crash measure failing for some time on the driver submission and then start to pass again when the APO causing the issue in that driver submission gets disabled. This measure keeps track of the APO disablements in the past 7 days compared to the devices using audio in that day (Audio Client Initialize event).
The audio news sector in the United States is split by modes of delivery: traditional terrestrial radio (AM/FM) and digital formats, such as online audio and podcasting. While terrestrial radio reaches a large portion of the U.S. population, online audio and podcasting audiences have grown over the last decade. And revenue for news radio stations dropped in 2020 after years of relative stability, but increased in 2021 and stayed the same in 2022. Explore the patterns and longitudinal data about audio and podcasting below. (Data on public radio beyond podcasting is available in a separate fact sheet.)
According to survey data from Edison Research, the share of the public listening to online audio has slightly increased in recent years. As of early 2023, 75% of Americans ages 12 and older have listened to online audio in the past month, while 70% have listened in the past week. After online audio listenership remained flat between 2019 and 2021, this increase marks the highest these figures have been since 2002 when data was first tracked.
and he goes on to stress that you would require great audiophile equipment to do so. Even then, with so many older listeners suffering from degenerative hearing loss, they would probably struggle in an authentic blind listening test.
In the consumer behavior responses gathered by Edison, 55 percent of listeners said they listened most often at home, compared with 43 percent in the previous year. Only 30 of listeners surveyed said the car was their main listening venue, by comparison to 41 percent of the respondents in 2019.
Thanks Denis! But I think your solution will simply constrain the percentage to the audio float? I want the sphere to move faster when a beat comes in and otherwise want to stay on the last percentage value if it is silent.
Called as a sound plays on the audio component to allow BP to perform actions based on playback percentage.Computed as samples played divided by total samples, taking into account pitch. Not currently implemented on all platforms.
I know that I can use the edit menu to rename an audio track, but is there likely going to be some sort of equivalent to setting play percentages in the future? Even a context menu option when you rick-click on an item in your playlist that automatically blanks your percentage field and puts your cursor in there? Because at the moment, the feature is entirely inaccessible.
In the meantime, you could look into using scripting. If you open the console, select the multi-instrument or scatterer instrument and use instrument = studio.window.editorCurrent() and instrument.playPercentages contains an array you can use to set the play percentages needed. If you need further help on this let me know.
As much as 85 percent of video views happen with the sound off, according to multiple publishers. Take, for instance, feel-good site LittleThings, which is averaging 150 million monthly views on Facebook so far this year. Eighty-five percent of its viewership is occurring without users turning the sound on. Similarly, millennial news site Mic, which is also averaging 150 million monthly Facebook views, said 85 percent of its 30-second views are without sound. PopSugar said its silent video views range between 50 and 80 percent.
Is there a way to make Ubuntu show me the current main volume level in the form of a percent? Like Windows 7 does when you change the sound level.
I'm just sorta a number freak, and I like to know what percentage my volume is at. Thanks :)
