Hey All!
So, a student told me he saw on NCIS that you can remove fingerprints permanently by pricking your fingers with needles and soaking them in pineapple juice.  I have NO CLUE if this is true or not, but figured not---do you know?

Fingerprints can not be permanently removed.
Pineapple juice contains an enzyme that digest protein and may temporarily affect the fingerprints, but this is not permanent.

Fingerprints are formed in the basal layer of the skin. Pineapple juice on the surface of the skin will not affect the basal layer.
