The program functions very well. It is capable of editing most aspects of the save file that general users would like it to do (Pokémon, inventory, etc). PKHeX is very good for those wishing to pick up Wonder Cards they've missed or are unwilling to acquire legitimately. It's also capable of removing the "used" flag on Wonder Cards so one may claim the same Wonder Card multiple times. This is great for sharing those exclusive Pokémon with your friends. Occasionally errors occur, though I've yet to experience anything persistent. Much unlike my experience with Micro$oft's Movie Maker, which constantly crashes. Overall, PKHeX is great tool for those wishing to edit their save files, regardless of one's reasons or justifications for doing so.
Couldnt be more thankful for this program the only down side that im aware of is not being a legal checker for all generation pokemon unless there is a program already out there for it, as some moves are previous generation pokemon so sometimes when I make them there might be another move that its not meant to have as its really tedious to search up every detail, but I won't complain here as nonetheless this program is a huge shortcut itself and allows me to do what I need and recieve the pokemon I can't obtain since black and white I got rid of all my pokemon games so at the moment only have everything X&Y and onwards. Keep doing what you're doing best.
Amazing for editing files! Two peices of Constructive Criticism When you select 'Give all (NOT LEGAL!)' and you go into a store and go onto the preview section, nothing shows up. Also, if you go online you will get banned from Game Sync, Rating Battles and some other features. It doesn't matter to me, but I thought I would tell you
If I recall correctly, slot 1 is named game.rxdata, slot 2 is game_01.rxdata, and slot 3 is game_02.rxdata. You should be able to switch around slots by renaming the save files. For example, to change slot 2 to slot 1, take game_01.rxdata and remove the _01.
I'm told that the way to delete save files in game is to press UP + Select + B, which I can only assume means UP + x + z on the keyboard. This is what I've done, but UP and z seem to be ignored, and things simply progress as though I'd only pressed the x button. I have started a new game regardless, though I'm not very far in. Good thing since I learned what happened to others after they beat the pokemon league.
Now, for my old game, I saved both savestates and savefiles, and I don't actually want to delete my old game. I just want to play the game all the way through again and do it differently. Regarding the savefiles, I read that the extension is supposed to be .dsv. I can find no such files, and yet I have saved in game (old game). Furthermore, I've read that the savestates should end in .ds1-0; my savestates end in .dst. I am using a mac, but I don't know if that's what accounts for the difference or if it's something else.
Also make sure to read the FAQ, specifically the Mac Users section. It tells you that your DeSmuME files can be shown by choosing File > Reveal Game Data Folder in Finder. Your in-game saves (the .dsv files) will be in the Battery folder. Save State Slot files (.ds#) will be in the Save States folder.
Save State files can have either the .dst or .ds# file extension, depending on how they are saved. They are functionally identical. However, their usage is different, which is why two methods exist for saving them.
Save State files can be saved in one of two ways:
1. An external Save State file (.dst): Choose File > Save State As. This allows you to save the Save State file where you want, but you need to keep track of its associated ROM so that it loads correctly. Best used if you want to use your Save State across multiple computers, create a Save State archive, allow for Time Machine backups, and so on.
2. A slotted Save State file (.ds#): Choose File > Save State Slot > Slot #. DeSmuME keeps track of the ROM association for you, but you are limited to only 10 slots. Best used for doing quick save-load cycles during gameplay.
The DeSmuME files have no differences between the Mac port, Windows port, or any other DeSmuME port. They are interchangeable, just as long as you place the files in the correct locations for DeSmuME to read. Again, on the Mac version, use File > Reveal Game Data Folder in Finder to view your DeSmuME files.
Yeah, I read the file extension wrong (I was looking at .nds, herpaderp), boohoo, get over it. I said I'm new to this, so I apologize if I don't magically know everything about what you are talking about without making some mistakes. Something like "Are you sure? Make sure you aren't looking at a .nds" or ".dsv's are not ROM files, double check that you are actually looking at a .dsv" is a lot more constructive and helpful than whatever you think you posted.

Pokémon games use more variables than the average math major would in 4 years of college. There's no way we'll ever see multiple save files on a handheld cartridge within the next (insert arbitrary amount of years here)
Ability is for pokemon that have more than 1 possible Ability, in that case, u can use that to set which one u want u can set them to hidden Abilities to but that will need a few more edits to make it legal.
How to load a Save File:
- Download the Save File from the Google Drive link above.
- Open your Save Folder Shortcut, which is located in your main Pokemon Reborn folder.
- Rename the downloaded Save File to an available save slot, I'd recommend setting it to a slot that you won't use, for example, Game_100.
- Ensure the file is still a .rxdata file, and that the spelling is correct, Save Files are case sensitive, and will not work if the file name is inputted incorrectly.
- Run Pokemon Reborn, and check your save files, load the save for NG+ features.
Incompatibilities:
The real issue is if the storage service will be able to read the corrupted save files after the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet update. Unfortunately, there seems to be no end in sight for the alleged problem with save files, as Nintendo has not even publicly talked about the issue. Since the source of the problem is unknown, players should postpone the connection between the Switch games and Pokémon GO and even the purchase of the DLC. For now, this seems like the best way for players to avoid losing their saves and their respective collections of creatures, many of which include multiple Shinies in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
If you go through the process of installing CFW (custom firmware) onto your 3DS, it's possible to have two different save files via the use of a save manager. I am aware that this question is really old, but in case anyone else wants to do it, I'll leave this link here: 3ds.guide
You can't have two save files. I recommend you just buy Pokemon Sun, because if you have another 3ds, you can trade pokemon to and from pokemon sun and have the chance to complete the entire Alolan Pokedex, considering the fact that each game has different pokemon.
I recently reset my Omega Ruby since I didn't know what to do in Sun, so I felt like replaying Omega Ruby. But Since I had a lot of Pokemon on there, I made a backup using JK's Save Manager. If you would like to install Homebrew, don't recklessly mess around in your 3DS's files, but instead use a video tutorial.
First, create an empty folder. You can name it whatever you want your pack to be called. This will be the root of your pack where you will place all of the files that you will make or gather. Be sure to create and place a pack.mcmeta file in your pack, as this will tell Minecraft that it's a resource/data pack.
In this guide you will be creating JSON files. It is recommended to use an editor that can check for JSON syntax errors when creating your files. Alternatively, you can pass or upload your files to a JSON linter or validator to ensure your files do not contain any errors.
Now that you have created or gathered all of your model related files, you can begin placing them in your pack. Here are the directories that you will need to create to place the files in, with Pokémon being the name of your Pokémon in all lower-case letters, e.g. tentaquil:
If you want to add support for other languages, you can create additional language files. For example, de_de.json for German, fr_fr.json for French, ja_jp.json for Japanese, and so on. All you need to do is change the value for each key.
Recommended installation procedure: Follow the Download pages' description about which files you need to download, usually a 'Full Game' and sometimes a 'Patch' file. Create a new folder with directory and name of your choice and move the downloaded files into this newly created folder. (Where you place it on your PC doesn't matter as long as you remember where it is. SSD recommended.)
Right click the 'Main Game' file and click "Extract here". This process may take a while, wait for it to finish. Afterwards repeat with the patch file. When you get asked to overwrite files, click 'yes' to all and the installation was successful. The patch HAS to overwrite files in order to take effect.
In the Pokémon video game series, the player catches pokemon, fictional creatures trained to battle each other as part of a sport franchise. Pokémon exerted significant cultural influence on people who grew up in the late 1990s and early 2000s not only in its country of origin, Japan, but also around the world. More recently, Pokémon Go became a viral hit as hundreds of millions of people played the augmented-reality game at its peak during the summer of 2016. You do not need to understand the details of Pokémon or need to have played the game to do the assignment. All you need to understand is the statistics we provide in our dataset about each pokemon.
Without Pandas (using Python built-in data structures plus Python math functions) in hw2_manual.py. These 6 functions take a list of dictionaries representing the parsed pokemon dataset.
