Tony Pua confirms making trip on September 10. Believe we can now get the fundraising dinner promo material and tickets going.

Hi Soon Yee,

My most sincere apologies for the spate of uncertainty, which was obviously unexpected.  Unfortunately as the DAP Selangor Chairman, I had extra roles to play in the on-going crisis.

Given that the likelihood of snap election has dissipated somewhat (although we can never be sure until a new MB is actually appointed), I will like to make confirmation for my trip.

So yes, I'll turn up in Perth on the morning of 10/9.

Hi Greg,

I apologize for the cancelled talk at the University.  But if an alternative venue can be arranged, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

Once the details of the talk/tea or dinner is finalized, let me know, I'll put up publicity materials on my FB sites as well.

Thanks so much!

Tony

Hate to bother you at times like this but it looks like the Sultan dragged it for another week. Can we assume that the snap election scenario can be discarded yet? It is getting quite close to our planned events date.

With PAS decision today, is everything in the clear or do we still have to await the return of the Sultan from his hols and what other tricks Khalid might still have up his sleeves?

Tony,
I know it's a million dollar question, but is there a possibility of a snap elections in Selangor with the current MB mess? Is there a possibility that your party will insist that you stay back for the campaigning?

We're in the midst of confirming with the restaurant about the dinner booking for 80 to 100 persons for the fundraising event in the evening. Should we put this on hold? Ticket are being prepared for sale but we can probably hold off for another week or so.

Your thoughts would be helpful in the planning.
