Just got this from Reuters. Please message me, privately if you wish, by email or fb message if you could do this feature interview. Probably best if a newbie or typical Msians not quite known or featured too prominently prior.

On another note, I thought we could do with a bit of stirring up the excitement of the upcoming elections on whatever social network we're on, particularly within the Perth or Oz network. Take a leaf from the HongKong group excitement "We R Voting (Msian Lepak in HK)".

Is anyone asking CG if we can do a sausage sizzle or some kind of lunchtime picnic at the Consulate car park?

Hi Soonyee,

My name is Angie, a video journalist based in Kuala Lumpur with Reuters. I had been receiving mails from Australia BERSIH group regarding ongoing activities and etc.

Now with election brewing in the country, I’m poking my head to seek for some features to run after PM dissolve parliament and right before polling day. I wonder is there anyone who currently residing in Australia is determine to come back to vote in GE13? Preferably a first time voter.

It will be great if I can speak to he/she prior to the election to run a short feature on why he/she is firm to cast the ballot in this GE.

Looking forward to hearing from you, and thanks for your help!

Best regards,

Can you send the Reuters request to Rahman as well. Hisham, one of their group told me he's returning to vote.
See if one of them is interested in talking to the press. It would be a more balanced report if they get to include Bumis abroad and they get their views.
