Hello all
I have an issue with game on Gamecube, games are crashing, telling me that it's trying to write or something, the error code is : "WriteRest : op out of range"
For example, NSFMW is crashing at the end of the tutorial, when I beat Razor and I have to buy my new car, or when I just launch all Star Wars games, it's crashing, always the same error code.
Any ideas ? I love those games and I really want to play those ...

Not on all games on Dolphin, only on SW Games & Need For Speed Most Wanted
I'm using the latest version of Batocera, 5.15, I've made the upgrade 1 week ago, but in 5.14, I had the same issue with those games.
I've searched on the web yesterday, and I've found tips about that.
Here's the problem for SW games : -emu.org/issues/8180 or -emu.org/issues/10214, it's talking about PIE compilation or something like that.
And for NFSMW : -emu.org/Thread-gc-need-for-speed-most-wanted--26181 or -emu.org/issues/10176, the second link is exactly what I have for issue.
They are all talking about Dolphin which have an old version, those bugs are corrected with newer version.
Is this possible to try an update of Dolphin on my config, if the version is older ?

@DinDon83 it requires time to investigate. I cannot put it in my priority for the moment while i've bigger issues.
it's probably related to dolphin however. try to get help on the dolphin side for the moment.

Unlike tabular tools for data analysis, Insights for ArcGIS makes it easy to perform spatial operations, such as filtering, with the geography of your data. From here, I open the attribute table of the crashes and create a new column to store CrashSeverity.

With Insights for ArcGIS, you have access to some of the most common spatial analysis tools such as buffer. With a buffer, you can also enrich your data using all the demographic data from Esri. For example, you could find information like which areas have the most children that might be walking to school.

After I create a quarter-mile buffer around the schools, I can drag the buffer layer into the crash card to filter the crashes by the areas near schools. (I could have also used drive or walking time buffers.)

Notice how the heatmap now changes to show a different spatial pattern. Simply seeing these results while you are working can help you understand what the data is trying to tell you. To see the day of the week or posted speed limit, I drag those columns from the dataset into the page and create new charting cards.

As I work on building this analysis page, Insights for ArcGIS is tracking all of my work. At any time, I can switch to an Analysis view that shows a model of all tasks. With some of those tasks you can even change their properties. For example, With the buffer tool, I might decide to change the distance of the buffer to a half mile.

Now I can click on the charts to understand how the location of the crashes change based on the day of the week or the posted speed. For example, I clicked the bar for Thursday and the map updates to show me where those crashes occurred.

At this point, I can interact with this page to get a better understanding of this crash data. As you can see there are some very specific hot spots in the map that were not evident when looking at the original crash points on their own. From here, different business units in a DOT could apply their expertise to interpreting the results. Safety engineers could use this to focus their efforts in those areas where a safety counter measures, like guard rails, will have the biggest impact. Or planners might use this analysis for more long-term corridor improvements. That is why, sharing these pages is so important. I can take this page and share it with others inside or out of my organization. One great way to share Insights for ArcGIS pages is with a story map. Here is an example of the Portland crash analysis inside a story map.

I hope this example gives you some ideas for how you could use Insights for ArcGIS to better understand your data and use that data to make better decisions. If you want to try this out yourself, the MPO boundary and Crash location data I used for this demo came from the Oregon DOT ftp site: _data/. The school locations can be found in ArcGIS Online here: =e6dac82b2dbc4cbabebe0778d57efe6e.

I have bought my 2nd-hand copy of NFS most wanted from gamestop store in Italy last month. the game disc is very clean and there is no single scratch on it. Unfortunately, When I try to play the game it hangs on the title screen and can not be loaded.

I assume you're talking about the Wii U version? That was about the most glitchy game that I ever owned on the system. I never had the problem that you mentioned, but I once had the game lock-up on me 4 times in 5 minutes. The game probably froze on me about 20 times during my 16 hours of total play time. After that I gave up and traded it in.

I know the Wii U version was praised up and down by reviewers, but none of them ever seemed to mention that the game simply doesn't work all that well. Whether you call them freezes, lock-ups, or crashes, the game is pretty much unplayable. You don't want to be seconds away from winning a tough race, only to have the Wii U freeze, resulting in you having to unplug the machine from the wall.

Anyways, I wish you luck, but I'd honestly recommend another NFS game on a different system if you can. Hot Pursuit on PS3 is outstanding. No performance issues, and I happen to think it's a better game all around. There's a lot more content in that game. In Most Wanted every car was limited to only have 5 races. Lame.

My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."

@MFii, do you have your WiiU connected to the internet? There is a huge patch that you need to download which sorts out the majority of the issues.
The only thing that I know of that can still freeze up the console is pressing the home button while the game is saving. Other than that, the game should run with no problems.

Yes, this game was a glitchy mess when it was released (one of the worst i've ever seen, especially on WiiU). They fixed a lot of its problems with patches. So try to download those first, if possible. If not, get a refund. Just because it's a clean or scratch-free disc, doesn't mean it's not broken

I own Need for Speed: Most Wanted for XBox 360. I made it all the way through the game to Blacklist #1,Razor. I completed all of Razor's required races, milestones, and bounty, and then I challenged Razor. I beat all of his races, but at the end of the last race against Razor, at the point when you cross the finish line, after a snapshot of your car is taken, I pressed the A button to continue, and suddenly, my game froze up. The XBox Guide Button wasn't working, and neither were any of the other buttons. I waited about five minutes too see if anything would happen, but nothing did. I had to shut off my system and turn it back on. Of course, my progress of beating Razor wasn't saved, and I now have to challenge him all over again. Can anyone help me determine the problem, or help me find a solution? This game has frozen on me before, and I think that a majority of the times it has froze up, they were NOT random ocurrences. I bought this game used, and the case and manual were in poor condition, though the disc appeared fine, and still, even now I can't see any scratches on the disc. But, the game has frozen only at specific times. For example, if I go into My Cars from the main menu, and then into Career Mode, the game will freeze. This has happened almost every time I do this. The game also froze after I defeated #2 on the Blacklist, Bull, after I had selected the third mystery Reward Marker. I reset my system and beat Bull again. I chose the third marker again, and the game froze. I defeated Bull a third time, and chose the first and second mystery Reward Markers instead of the third one, and the game DIDN'T freeze. It turned out that the third marker was Bull's Pink Slip. For additional information: I defeated Razor with a fully upgraded Lamborghini Murcielago. I didn't try defeating Razor again, because being that I have had problems exactly like this before, and the game froze right after I won the last race, most likely the game will just freeze up again. Also, I am new to this website, so I really don't know much about it. I apologize for having such a lengthy explanation and question, but I wanted to make the question as clear as possible. Your help is GREATLY appreciated, and I will accept whatever you think. Anyone that thinks that they can help me, please respond back.

Please do not use this box to ask a question, it will be rejected - this box is for answers ONLY. If you want to ask a question for this game, please use the ask a question box which is above on the right.

I am not fully sure that this will work on your game but try a different vehicle to beat him with, I had used the one I was most comfortable with which was that black list racer guy's corvett after I upgraded all performence parts available for the car and tweaked my tuneing. If this does not work the likely the disk was seriously effed up and was cleaned useing a special cleaner(to be sure try the toothpaste trick it will show any scratches that have had the special cleaningsame thing happened to my saint's row game which is useless for story mode). If your problem persists you would need to rent it or get a new copy sorry.

I am on PC, found this solution on some other website, but I wish this would work with yours.
My case was having too much cars on the Safehouse, so after the snapshot of Razor's last race, my game would freeze. The solution, of course, is selling a car that you like the least, then beating Razor again. The first time I heard it, I thought it was an unconventional solution, but that was actually the answer to my problem that lasted for a month! So in summary: Sell a car, then beat Razor again.
