To all Educators and Partners Working with Students and Youth:
We are holding our Fifth Annual Male Youth Summit for middle and high school students on Friday and Saturday, October 25-26, which is a meeting to encourage male students to consider the importance of being male, celebrating through a day of arts workshops featuring DJ, Poetry, Art, and writing workshops, with a focus on creating positive community messages on Saturday. The locations and information is listed below. Students will need to obtain parent consent and consent from the schools through passes for the day for the Friday workshops; our project will provide meals with the support of sponsors. I am glad to come to your school next week to bring registration packets and to discuss the summit in detail, with staff or students, I am available to speak with parents. I hope you can help me to share this information widely in our community, we hosted over 50 students last year from throughout the city, and we hope to continue to build on this success. Thanks for your support of our work to promote the health and well-being of our students. You can print out the attachments above to provide packets to students.
