Happy new year, everyone! 
 
The 2014 session of the New Mexico Legislature will begin at noon on Tuesday, January 21.  In preparation for the session, legislators have already begun "pre-filing" bills and the Legislative Finance Committee has released its proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year (FY15).  Governor Martinez's budget recommendations are expected to be out soon.
