Bernalillo County is hiring for two positions to launch and oversee its new supportive housing programs for persons with mental illness who are involved in the criminal justice system. The program will include
housing and wrap around support services provided by community based providers selected through an RFP process. The two positions are the
program manager who will be responsible for the oversight of the program as a whole and the
intake coordinator who will work closely with the criminal justice partners and the community providers in identifying appropriate clients for the program and ensuring a smooth transition from jail based services to community based services. The
program anticipates building to 75 clients over the course of the year and potentially continuing to grow as additional funding is located.
