I did a lot of research before I spent this much on a watch. I had gone to our local Omega watch store to see what 27 mm vs. 24 mm meant. I also contacted one of the sellers of this watch on Amazon to find out the difference between the 001 vs. the 002 metal finish. I chose the 27 mm with the 001 finish. After I received my watch from a seller on Amazon, I took it to our local Omega store to have it sized and they did it for free! So that confirmed to me that this watch is authentic. Otherwise, the Omega people would have charged me for sizing the watchband. I love this watch! It is so beautiful! There is no second hand -- something I didn't notice when I ordered the watch. The knob to adjust the time is very easy to turn. There is no date window, which I don't need anyway. This is a classy minimalist modern style. I am very happy with my purchase.
