If so, you're in for a treat.  The symphony I play with is doing Mahler 3rd (two timpani's, two harps, two choruses etc...).  Berlin library should have some passes for a discount on tickets (plus students/first timers free).  Attached is the flyer and additional info below.  Hope to see you there! -Angela

Symphony Pro Musica continues its 37th season on February 1 at 7:30 pm at the Paul “Skip” Johnson Auditorium, Hudson High School, and February 2 at 3:30 pm at the Putnam Family Arts Center at St. Mark’s School in Southborough. Maestro Mark Churchill leads the orchestra in Gustav Mahler’s celebrated Symphony No. 3. The orchestral ensemble is over 90 players for these performances. Also featured are mezzo-soprano soloist Britt Brown, The Symphony Women’s Chorus (Brad Dumont, conductor), and the Boston Bilingual Singers children’s chorus (directed by Katya Anoshkin). “This work is rarely played because of the forces required, the extended length, and the emotional and technical demands of the music,” says Churchill. “Don’t miss this opportunity to experience Mahler’s work at its best and most transformational!"

There is a preconcert lecture 45 minutes prior to the performances, and a “meet the soloist” reception follows the concerts. For more information and tickets, visit symphonypromusica.eventbrite.com. Students and first-time attendees are free!
