Invitation :: Google App Engine and Cloud Platform training for startups

Google's infrastructure supports 3 billion search queries every day, each of them returning results from 30,000 billion indexed pages. 72 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. Half a billion Android devices contribute to trafic on Gmail, Google maps or Google+ and these are just a few examples.

Did you know that you can use this infrastructure to power your next big idea ?

Google cloud platform is a collection of 4 cloud services for developers: App Engine (PaaS), Compute Engine (IaaS), Cloud Storage (file storage) and Big Query (analytics).

After a quick overview of the entire platform, this training will jump right into coding (in Java) on Google's App Engine. In 2 hours, you will develop a web site announcing the results of an election that can withstand the load of an entire country hitting it at the same time when results are published.
