Do you have a newer iOS version?  Currently, CIFilter on iOS does not allow custom filters, so the only way to achieve custom effects would be to chain existing effects:

You can subclass CIFilter in order to create:

• A filter by chaining together two or more built-in Core Image filters (iOS and OS X)
• A custom filter that uses an image processing kernel that you write (OS X only)

If you're looking for custom effects on a current iOS release, you might try GPUImage:

Hi Marcel,

the idea was to create a class for each effect that extends from CIFilter and overwrites outputimage method creating chains if necessary. I was not aware of GPUImage and I see can be an option.

We don't have development power to create the collection of effects and need some help.
