Dear Cocoaheads,
I’ve been organizing the meetups for the last year or so. I had great fun doing it and I hope we all enjoyed talks from new faces and visiting new locations.
As some/most of you know I’ve recently became a first-time father and between the baby and other responsibilities, I find it more and more difficult to find the time to attend the meetups let alone finding the necessary time for organizing them…
Here are the things that need to be done for a CocoaHeads meetup, more or less according to the order of importance:
- Find Speakers
- Drum up some interest on Twitter
- Introduce speakers/hosts during the meetup
- Record and upload the talks
- Optionally find sponsors and hosts
It would be amazing if one/some of you could take over some or all of the tasks as I’m clearly neglecting most of them…
I’m sending this email to the original mailing list first so that the "old guns” get the chance to raise their hand first :)
