Hello Team...

Hope you are all enjoying the holiday with warmth and festivity....

I spoke with Susana from Autumn Press yesterday....
They have offered to print 25 posters for a deeply reduced fee is $62.70.  See size and details below.
We would need to provide the artwork within the next 10 days to get on their January calendar.

They do not print perforated tickets at Autumn and suggested the likes of the green press online ticketing companies that can print and send for about $27.00 as the best deal around.

Seems like a very fair price for a soy and recycled paper poster in the 11x17 size.

I will await feedback from Rebecca and company on this development.

Cheers, Chelsea

Chelsea,
Thank you for your time answering my questions.
For printing 25 posters 11x17 one side we would charge $62.70 + tax.
That price includes a PDF proof, please add $30.00 for a paper proof.

Happy New Year!

Hello Terry...

I am following up with a message and visit with Valeska on Wednesday to
introduce myself.  I learned that her daughter Valera also attended BH for
her elementary years.  She was lovely to meet in person.

I am a volunteer on the Berkwood Hedge Elementary School Green Committee
and reaching out to ask kindly if it would be possible to work with you to
have a small number of posters and possibly raffle tickets printed for an
upcoming fund raiser.

An electric bicycle was graciously donated to our Green Sustainability
Fund at the school, and we will hold a raffle to raise money for upgrades
to our campus.  With the proceeds from the raffle, we hope to implement
solar panels and many other green upgrades to the campus structure.

I looked into green printers in Berkeley to keep the foot print small and
to further support our mission of sustainability and green initiatives.  I
am very pleased and grateful to learn of your stewardship in this and of
the involvement with Earth Team too.  I salute you for taking such a huge
responsibility on with respect to our environment, and for helping so many
in the community.

We would be entirely grateful for your consideration and would make sure
to recognize your business in this project.  I, myself will be needing
business cards and letterhead and will have my design worked up within the
month...so I hope to bring this separate project to you as well.  (and I
will be a paying customer for this) :)

I have attached the basic poster design.  We would love to get your
feedback when you have a moment to discuss.

Wishing you warmth on this day and holiday days to come...

SIncerely,

Chelsea Cooper-Clarke

I guess my biggest question is were we planning on putting posters up off campus?  If not, I think 25 would be too many and not a good use of funds that we currently don't have.

I am most interested in getting the tickets printed and feel like we could print the poster on legal size or 8.5x11 on a printer and copy at school. Does anyone know if the copy machine at school does color copies?

After talking with Sarah once she spoke with Love, I also feel like a scaled back version of the raffle would be fine. Since funds will go to the green team, I think we could set our goal smaller. I would like to raise at least the value of the bike but if we only make $1500 that would still last us many years.
