Take a look at this first draft of the tuesday note submission and let me know if you have any changes/additions.

We are now entering the month of May, when Berkwood Hedge will be celebrating local food.  We encourage all families to examine where the food they eat comes from and to think about ways to eat more local.  One way to approach eating local is to plant a garden.  This is a perfect time to put some seeds in the ground and start a garden.  To see what crops to plant now and what plants like to grow with each other, go to http://www.slideshare.net/Fawn85w/guide-to-companion-vegetable-planting-east-bay-california.  In addition, this Saturday is a fabulous opportunity to gets some locally grown food through trade. Transition Berkeley will be holding a crop, clothing and book swap May 4th, 10:30-11:30 at the Ohlone Greenway, across from North Berkeley BART.  Produce stands are also a great place to buy locally grown food.  In addition to the numerous farmer's markets, Farm Fresh Choice is a program of the Ecology Center that makes locally grown produce convenient and affordable in multiple neighborhoods in Berkeley on Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30. They have produce stands at BAHIA School, 1718 8th St., BYA, 1255 Allston Way and Spiral Gardens, 2850 Sacramento St.  Take advantage of these amazing resources in our community and see if you can eat more local this week.  Lastly, for four weeks in the month of May, we will be picking a family randomly to receive a free Full Belly Farm CSA box.  Come to community meeting to hear who won this week.

Looks good -- I would just clarify that the FFC stands are Tuesday 3:30-6:30 at the locations you mentioned: "Farm Fresh Choice is a program of the Ecology Center that makes locally grown produce convenient and affordable. They run produce stands every Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 at BAHIA School, 1718 8th St., BYA, 1255 Allston Way and Spiral Gardens, 2850 Sacramento St."  And I would lead with the info about produce stands and put gardening (which fewer people will be willing to do) second.

Also, do families have to do anything to enter to win the CSA box? If so, we should explain how to enter to win.
