I was just writing to full belly to let them know that we would like to use four boxes on may 10 to do the "out of the box" cooking project. I read more closely and noticed that Bh has $396 of credit. That is a credit of 22 boxes. I still propose we use four boxes for the cooking project but I was also thinking we could give away a box every week in may to a family. Let me know what you think.

Hello Rebecca, thank you for wanting to promote our CSA at your challenge.
I am not sure if any discount can be offered, but the Berkwood Hedge School has a
credit of $396.00 which can be used for produce from our farm for hosting our CSA.
4 CSA boxes is $72.00 or $18 per box.
I am not sure how you would want to use this credit, or just schedule some extra CSA boxes to use as needed.
You may want to talk to Ravi, about using this credit. (I believe he is the principal?)

Thank you, Connie

I am a parent at Berkwood Hedge in Berkeley and also a member of the Berkwood Hedge Green Team.  In May, we will be having an Eat Local Challenge in which all families are encouraged to eat more locally grown food.  As a part of the challenge we are looking for businesses that support and/or provide local food to promote to our families.   I am writing to you to see whether you would be willing to offer a one month deal for families at Berkwood Hedge.  This would be a great opportunity for families to try out the csa box that is so conveniently delivered to our school and also help make it easier for them to eat local.  Please let me know if you would be willing to consider this and if you have additional questions.

We are all set up with full belly for four boxes for the cooking class on may 10, one box to giveaway each week in may and 2 boxes for soups on. They will arrive by 8 am on the appropriate Fridays.
Hello Rebecca, I have scheduled boxes as requested.  They will be listed under Berkwood Hedge for you.
Good luck with all your events.  They are delivered before 8am each week.

The total credit remaining is $216.00.
So glad your son is able to visit our farm.
Best, Connie

Dear Connie,

Plans for the Berkwood Hedge Eat Local Month have started to take shape and we would like to incorporate Full Belly boxes in several ways. On May 10, we will be doing an "out of the box" cooking class with several classes using produce from Full Belly. On May 31, we will also be featuring Full Belly produce in the soup that the third grade class will prepare for the whole school. Lastly, each week in May we will give away one box to a family participating in the eat local challenge. Below are the box needs outlined by week. We were hoping that these extra boxes could be dropped off at Berkwood Hedge with the scheduled delivery on Fridays.  What time do the boxes arrive on Friday?

May 3- 1 box
May 10- 5 boxes
May 17- 1 box
May 24- 1 box
May 31- 2 boxes

Please confirm that this will work for you. I believe this will be using $180 of our $396 of credit. I know my son in the third grade is very excited to come to Full Belly with his class May 23 and I am very excited that Full Belly can be such a key part of our eat local month.
