What: Stories from transatlantic, transmediterranean, and transcaribbean crossings!

When: Sunday, July 7th. Event start at 6:00pm with presentation at 7:00pm.

We'll hear from Megan and Polo, two local Sailing Alumni, who are returning to the Bay Area after a year of low-carbon travel - including a transatlantic crossing! They're joining us to share tactical tips and learnings from their sail-hitchhiking travels, where they spent five months thumbing rides from Montenegro on the Adriatic Sea all the way across the ocean, through the Caribbean, and up to Florida!

Event start at 6:00 PM for networking and drinks, followed by a presentation at 7:00 PM where Megan and Polo will recount their crossing in the dining room. This will be a fun and interesting discussion about the other side of sailing, but also a chance to mingle with our CSC counterparts from the south side of the Marina and make new sailing/crew connections.
