Ahoy Skippers,
Does anyone need a crew for the Beer Can race tomorrow April 18th? I am also available to crew on Sunday. I would love to join in any practice sails. I got introduced to this new sport only last year. I totally fell in love with this new hobby and now it has worsened my Monday morning blues 10 times more :-) So glad it is one day to Friday!! My son is a freshman at UC, Berkeley. So I have all the time to invest in my new hobby.
I did not grow up sailing, so I don't have the bragging rights that many of you have. But I am hardworking and easy going. I look for any and every way to improve my sailing skills.
My sailing background so far.

Mostly done Trimmer, Tacking, Rail Meat. I would love to practice the main sail, foredeck and driving more.
That said, I am open to any position on the boat.
I also got into the spinnaker clinic at Modern Sail School on May 31st. Hopefully I will get better with the kite pretty soon.
Sailed mostly Catalina’s, J 105, Santana 22, Fountaine Pajot. Recently sailed on Wilderness 30, Cal 40, Mercury and J 44.
warm regards,
Lakshmi.
