In addition and for those who may be interested, am informed that SF-LUG participant John Strazzarino is giving away some Chromebooks he and his contacts at Straycap Makerspace in Hayward acquired and revamped with Lubuntu 25.10 courtesy of FixitClinic's Peter Mui and others.
They are Dell Chromebook 11 3180 machines with 4GB RAM and 16GB eMMC storage. AC charging adapters are included with these.
Would estimate that the Chromebooks are most useful for standard, low-resource-requiring productivity tasks carried out visiting public WiFi locations and/or while travelling, e.g., web-browsing, sending email, transfering files to/from the Chromebook via its external USB ports, writing short notes, viewing images, viewing PDFs, ...etc.
A couple of Dell Chromebook 11 3180 Specifications and Review websites are

For further info on freely obtaining one of these Chromebooks with Lubuntu installed, you can contact John via...

Cheers :-)
