Hey food coopers!
There have been a lot of concerns raised
recently about transparency, our new structure, decision making
processes, etc. To begin addressing this concerns, we're holding a
meeting at 5:30pm in the senate lounge (2nd floor) of Eshleman this
Monday (in lieu of our usual weekly membership meetings). We will be discussing:
- Decision making processes
- Vision and mission statements
- Membership meetings
- Transparency issues
If you want to have your voice heard on these important
discussions and decisions, please come (and be on time!) to the meeting
this Monday. Joseph Dowd started a new thread on the wiki at
http://sites.google.com/site/berkeleyfoodcoop/feedback/democraticvaluesandstuff to
discuss these issues. Please, post any thoughts you have on this
thread. That way, we'll have some starting-points for discussion at the
actual meeting.
