Greetings fellow foodcoopers!

 

No, we haven't found a permanent storefront yet, but we have come up with a plan that might allow to start selling food on campus next semester.

 

We're currently considering partnering with Tacqueria Tacontento, one of the vendors in the Bear's Lair Food Court on campus. Basically, the deal would work as follows: we would offer to cover part of the tacqueria's rent, and in return we would get to use their kitchen to prepare food at night.

We will also be VOTING on whether to pursue this proposal at the General Membership Gathering tomorrow (12/3/09). If you can't be there, but you have comments on the proposal, then you should post them on the wiki page. We will try to read or at least summarize the wiki comments during the Gathering.
