Dear WINDOW-Team,
conducting a validation study for a research project we realized that the perimeter gap definition (Dtop, Dbot, Dright, Dleft) of an
internal homogeneous diffusing shader
isn't used in the thermal calcualtion by the TARCOG routine.
The glazing system is defined as shown in the screen shot:
We checked the *.w7 file and it looks like the
perimeter gap
data isn't transferred to TARCOP as the areas Atop, Abot,Al and Ar are set to 0:
*------------------------------------------------------------
* Layer 4 - diffuse shade:
*------------------------------------------------------------
* <scon(i), asol(i), thick(i), emis(2*i-1), emis(2*i), tir(2*i-1), YoungsMod(i), PoissonsRat(i), LayerType(i), nslice(i)>

However, the correct perimeter gap rartios are written to the report Energy Plus BSDF IDF file:

In Window 8.0.6 as well as WINDOW 7.4.14.0 the perimeter gaps are taken into account as expected.
Thanks for taking care of this issue!
Kind regards,
marion
