Hi there,
I use the term "glazing" loosely as the material to which I refer is a polycarbonate. I am looking to model a system where the transparent element is a multi-cell polycarbonate material (as shown below) in a frame structure.

Polycarbonate material (multicell structure)
The material comes in a few different configurations including honeycomb etc as shown below:

12mm material multi-cell configurations
Additionally different layers can alternate in terms of transmission functioning much as louvres or blinds would.

Light and radiation transmission adjustment within material.
My objective as stated is to model and simulate a variety of these materials within a frame system as single layer and multi layer system assessing the effect on performance of the different cellular structures and the combined effect including frame of each.
I have considered that the rectilinear cross-sectional structure could potentially be modeled utilising dividers should the limit not be limited to 10.
Assuming all material properties can be obtained, which (if any) of these are possible to model and what manner would ideally be best suited?
Many thanks
F
