Hi everybody, can I get the spectral data of the slat material (the opaque PU coated aluminium band) into the tool.
In the Shade Material library appears a "spectral data" check box which is not active?
What to do to get it active?

Thank you for your help
best regards
Robert

If the spectral data box is not checked, then spectral data is not available for that material.

What is the ID # and exact name of the Shade Material you are looking at?

I am trying to create a new one (shade material)
bases on direct-diffuse reflectance values of the slat material. Will this work, at all?
Window 8

The info about going through optics5 is known, but doesnot help, as I do not have the data for the slat system. I have only the slat data.

Thank for your help

The venetian blind model in WINDOW is using Lambertian scattering. Modifying the material to have a mix of direct and diffuse data does not give you correct values.
