Dear Window users,

I am currently trying to determine the g-value for different glazing systems consisting of double glazing and indoor shading with a metallized reflective coating. This is my first project with Window and I am not sure how to calculate this.

The g-value is the total solar energy transmittance and needs to be determined according to the ISO15099. I only need the center of glazing value. Do you know what output parameter from window corresponds to the total solar energy transmittance? I can only get outputparameters SC and SGHC, which both seem to differ from this value. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Hi Joris,
SHGC is what we call g-value in the US, so that is the number you want.
Best,
Jacob
