CLA: Proposed New Booklet to Be Voted on by WSO

Dear CLA Member,

I hope this New Year finds you healthy and happy—and happily
decluttering!

I am pleased to announce that our proposed new CLA publication is
ready to be considered for WSO approval. Attached is the "World
Service Business Meeting Motion 2010-1," which includes the text of
the booklet, "Is CLA for You? A Newcomer's Guide to Recovery."

This booklet was sent to the Fellowship for input in the fall of 2008.
All the groups who responded voted to accept the document, some with
minor changes. Since that time, the Literature Committee has carefully
considered all the changes proposed by those groups and included such
changes where feasible.

All group delegates, please print this document, take it to your
groups for study and group conscience on whether to accept it, and be
prepared to vote on it at the WSO meeting on January 23, 2010.

The document as sent to you is not yet in its final visual form. When
approved, it will be formatted into a booklet form (5 1/2" x 8 1/2",
folded and stapled in the center).

However, if approved, no changes to text will be made except for final
proofreading for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
