主，你所给我们看见的又多又高大，而我们实际进入的，我们在你面前承认，实在是缺如。主啊，我们来到这里，求你再眷顾我们！

本于信得称义是为着（接受）神的生命，（罗五18，）本于行为得称义是借着（活出）神的生命。生活既是生命的结果，本于行为得称义就是本于信得称义的（结果）。亚伯拉罕献以撒，以及喇合接待使者，又放他们出去，都是出自他们（活）的信心而有的行为。（活）的树必然结果子。本于行为得称义与本于信得称义并不矛盾。后者是因，产生前者；前者是果，是后者的结果和证明。（参雅二24注1）

Let's Pray:

Lord, what You have shown us is so much and so high, yet we have to admit before You that what we have practically entered into is very short.  Lord, grant us again Your visitation.

James 2:24	You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith only.

To be justified by faith is for the (receiving) of the divine life (Rom. 5:18); to be justified by works is through (living) the divine life. Since the living is the issue of life, to be justified by works is the (issue) of being justified by faith. Abraham's offering of Isaac and Rahab's receiving of the messengers and sending them out are works that issued from their (living) faith. A (living) tree surely brings forth fruit. Being justified by works is not inconsistent with being justified by faith. The latter is the cause, bringing forth the former; the former is the effect, the outcome and proof, of the latter. (See James 2:24 note 1)
