I've checked out the current code, and have made initial changes
necessary to support SQL Server 2005. Can I join the project and
submit these changes in a branch so we could incorporate it into the
main revision? I have a suite of open source medical applications that
could really use SQL Server support in bering.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Great. I'm very interested in adding support for more database
systems to Bering.

However (and please don't take this the wrong way), I'd prefer to see
your code before giving you commit access to the repository. Could
you create a patch and attach it to an issue in the issue tracker?

http://code.google.com/p/bering/issues/list

(If you've been making your changes against an svn working copy,
creating a patch should be as simple as

svn diff > mssql-server.patch

)

I'll review it and we can go from there.

BTW, which open source medical application suite are you working
with? Bering was initially created for the Patient Study Calendar,
which is an NCI project for tracking patients' progress through cancer
clinical trials.

Rhett,

I'll submit the path on Monday when I get back to work.

It looks like bering is not only in the PSC, but in C3PR and CAAERS,
which are parts of the NCI cabig project. We're investigating these
three projects and need SQL Server support, and so I'm working on it
at the moment.
