Sightseeing in Athens before BeProud

Hello BeProudies!

As I never been to Athens I was cheating a little and go there some days before BeProud for some sightseeing(and partying). I expect it wouldn't be so much time for that during the trainshop. And also because now it's dropping below zero up here in the north, the sun goes down at 15hrs(black at 15.30!), more light please.

I was wondering about some things.

Somebody else going for some sighseeing/partying and feeling for joining? 

Someone knows a good hostel in Athens?

What must you see/do in Athens(except going to Acropolis)?
