Hey guys,
I was wondering if I exported the materials from Sketch Up for my model to Photoshop to modify for exporting to Cry Engine how would I go about scaling the images so that they fit in their original proportions on my model in the game? Or is it a matter of making the files 512x512 or 1024x1024 and adjusting them accordingly? I'm not sure how to do that inside Cry Engine just yet!
Cheers, Matt

Hi Matt,
Why are you using Sketch Up?
I suggest you follow the tutorials supplied for the course. We are using 3ds Max 2012 to export to Crysis. The tutorials show you how to get textures from cgtextures.com, adjust the sizes in Photoshop, and UVW map them in 3ds Max.

I thought it would be a good way to get the exact textures for the Barcelona Pavillion as the images on the Sketch Up file are identical whereas the options on cg textures aren't so. As a result I could use the actual textures to apply through Photoshop to my materials editor in Cry Engine like in the CryTif tut couldn't I?
