During the last three weeks- when the rape and mutilation case in Delhi has been taking frontpage of the news papers and TV channels, I have been visiting in Delhi and Kolkata. I have seen at least three seriously sick or injured people lying in open and public place- nobody paying any attention. and one of them was on Baba Kharak Singh Marg- at the heart of the Capital of India itself. I informed a police but nothing happened. I have been wondering if there exists a Nation wide helpline that we can call and who can promptly attend such serious cases. Please let me know.
