Stop keywords not working?

I have 'salary' as a stop word, but I keep getting emails with the word 'salary' in them.

Thoughts?

Here are a couple examples:

Killword: work from home (I actually AM interested in work-from-home listings, but since 99% of them are bogus/spammy, I'm using it as a killword.)
Listing: Photoshop Proficient work from home needed

Killword: $1000
Listing: Looking for 8 people who are looking to make $1000 a day


There have been more but I don't have time to look for them just now.  Maybe the spaces in "work from home" and the dollar sign character are what's messing it up?

Thanks! I think I figured out what the issue was, it had to do with multi-word terms not working correctly.

I've made an adjustment that should yield substantially better results.

Please monitor closely for the next few days and let me know ASAP if anything seems amiss.

It's because the Craigslist RSS feed isn't returning the complete content of the post. 

We can try indexing the CL pages directly, but that is against the TOS and has a bunch of IP restrictions, so it may not be sustainable.
