Team Suits and Caps

Hello! 

Rachel Rodney has been working diligently to line our group up with suits and caps so that we have a unified look. She has been working with a vendor from the Albany area and securing great pricing. We are going to go with the Speedo "Conquers All" suit in kelly green. Here are what the suits look like (I think if you click on the image a link will appear to Speedo's website) ...

Pretty cool, huh? They are in the endurance family of suits so should long life in regards to shape and color, and I really like the design. They should be a great choice for either day to day use or for meets.

Pricing is $63 for female and $36.75 for the male jammers - we are still checking on prices for the male briefs but they should be less than the jammers. Greg suggested printing "Monumental" on the butt of the suits - if they can make it work with colors that will add an additional $5 to the cost.

We would like get an order in soon so that we can get the suits on display at the Rec Center! So...can you please consider if you would like to purchase a suit and let Rachel know your size by Saturday practice this week (12/19)? As far as caps, we will working to get an logo for printing. More to come on these once we get the artwork finalized...

I love the suits, but I am not going to buy one with the words “Monumental” printed across my ass! It is monumental enough without a label. I suggest across the front of the chest.

Perhaps the boys would rather have the printing on the front of their little suits? :)

Yeah, that was just a joke. "Monumental" isn't even the name of our team (just the name we use for the meet we host). 

And I've been told I don't even have a butt, anyways...

I wanted to send a few updates. The suits are in and will be shipping soon to Rachel. Please keep in mind pricing below, and be ready to pass on payment to Rachel when they arrive. Thank you.

Also, we are finalizing our cap order. In order to minimize the minimum number to order, we will be requesting silicone will be $9 per cap (25 minimum) with shipping. These are customizable with names for 11.35 per cap but they need 2 caps per name (which means $23 per person). The great thing about silicone is that the caps will last a long time.

If you could either let Rachel or me know if you are in for one or two, that would be great. 

Here's to a great February in the water! Keep in mind our Masters Meet on Saturday, April 9th, at the Rec!

Rachel has taken delivery of the suits and will be at the Rec Center tonight during the Marauders practice and again on Saturday during our Masters swim in the morning. Please plan to bring payment (pricing is $63 for female, $36.75 for the male jammers, and $33 for male briefs) or reach out to either Rachel or me to make other arrangements. 

We are also closing in on placing the cap order, so please make sure that we know about your interest with that. Thanks for all of the support and orders...even if you didn't order a suit, you will be swimming with style in one of our durable silicone swim caps.

Exciting news...the caps are in! Rachel Rodney did another superb job to secure these beauties, including mastering Photoshop to come up with this neat design! 

I have the caps and can collect payment:

Single caps are $9. 

If you opted for personalized caps, the cost is $23 (for two). 

I will be at practice on Tuesday and then we have our meet next Saturday.

We have additional caps available for purchase if you or someone you know would like to pick one up. Just let me know.

Oh, did I mention that our meet is in a little over a week? It is a really fun time and I encourage everyone to sign up for an event or two and give it a try. We need folks for relays, too :)

Are you around today? I want to get my cap. Lol I know mine are paid for! 

I was almost thinking we should charge 12$ for the people who didn't reserve caps. Or maybe for anyone who buys them at the meet.  That will put a little extra into the budget.
