Dear Mr Majumder,

Thanks to you for all of your earlier positive  initiatives in Malancha and Mallika. Now the new problem has cropped up regarding securities. There are some suggestions from our side which are in the form of questions

1.What the security agency is doing for the following things listed : Gate entry/Exit, Access Control, Visitors control,Vehicle Control and of course their surveillance plan.
2.Has the security staff employed gone through C & A Verification,
3.Are they trained for visitor control,Vehicle control
4.Do they have Malancha Mallika stickers for vehicle.
5.Do we have  good lighting arrangement  inside the premises?
6.Do these security personnel  know and control the persons working inside the premises. What is the system of  passes being issued  to persons going inside the premises to work. For them "Go" and "No Go" areas.

We strongly believe that  the above things needs to be taken care of for "Happy Staying and customer satisfaction".

Thanks and Regards

Srinibas

Hello Mr. Indranil Majumdar,

Good morning. The situation is really not changed since January of the first reporting to you.
Security team is full of untrained old folks and not sure how can we expect physical work from
them at this ripe age.

In case of any disaster security team would be a mute spectator and I'm really scared to stay there
though most of my interior work is done.We are expecting a lot from you being  instrumental
in lot of good changes  in Mallika. The same problem doesn't exist in Sunrise Symphony and other
neighboring apartment compl x.The security is professional and doesn't contain the high no. of local

resources. In Mallika its becoming difficult to differentiate local syndicate & security. The moment
any outside contractor arrives apparently security team informs local syndicate. They do 'gherao'
and threaten residents.Local syndicate members roam freely in the complex and you can often
find them taking tea with security team in MIG security complex room. Its a nexus basically.

The problem can be solved by installation of Security Camera and changing the agency with strict
criteria of staff selection.

Hi Biswajit,

Thanks for acknowledging our issue and taking this with M/S GS & FS.

Its not the first time (Earlier reporting date: Jan 17) the issue is reported and including the incompetent, aged person engaged for the security. As you already work at site I believe
its goes without saying that it does not require any further proof. We do not buy the logic that if you
change the agency the same person would come back only changing the uniform. We would insist
BDCL to change the agency now and do not believe that M/S GS & FS would reform or would be able to change the mindset of the security persons, who are not trained.Simply some local people are engaged
paying possibly low salary, making it a cheap deal for BDCL.

We would take this up with Newtown police and HIDCO as no timeline to resolve the security issues
are honored by BDCL. Security related issues and syndicate are not faced by our nearby apartment
complex.

1. The current security team doesn't have the strength or attitude to provide security
2. Its more of a timepass work for them and outsiders, local rowdies roam freely inside complex
3. The number of security staff does not seem to be adequate for a complex of this size.
4. The rowdies make lewd comment to ladies from distance and stare at them.I've overheard some    conversation and its not acceptable.
5. The age group of current team is on higher side and per experience of the single family residing in tower 1    they sleep post 8:00 p.m
6. The team is also not professional and seems to be not trained enough
7. There are nil etiquette in most of them

Dear Mr. Sarkar,

This is indeed a serious issue.

At Malancha, there is an ingress management system at place with valid ID check and proof. Moreover identification cards are issued to all outsiders including domestic help and drivers.

As you would know, M/S GS & FS, a reputed and registered private security group has been entrusted with the security management of Malancha. Bengal DCL also keeps an watch on the whole system.

We acknowledge the seriousness of your complaint. Under the system which is operational there, such incidence should not have occurred.  I am directly investigating this and talking to GS & FS headquarter, so that necessary remedial step (if any) can be adopted immediately.

I would request you to kindly pass on the details mentioned in the card which was handed over to you by one of the trespassers (?)

Thank you for reporting this issue promptly. Let us see what can be done. My desk number is 4000 3316 and mobile no. 9038002793. Please keep your communication on. With your continued feedback, together, we will be able to maintain Malancha in a proper way.

Regards,

Biswajit Paul

Dear Mr. Indranil, Mr Subir,

This is to report a serious incident that occured at Malancha today.

Couple of faults in my apartment still remains even after 2 months of
submitting the observation list and I try to visit Malancha every
Saturday with a hope that it may get fixed. I am keeping regular contact
with Mr. Tapas Saha to sort out this issue. As I was boarding my car
while returning from Malancha today afternoon at around 1 PM, I saw a
small group of young folks loitering in front of Tower 1 and one of them
came up to me. I thought they must be BDCL workers or staffs supporting
apartment owners with interiors. The guy handed over a card and said the
following -

a. We are locals
b. Any work you need to do in here has got to be done by us
c. Outsiders cannot work in here

I reported and discussed this with Ms. Maitra and Mr. Tapas Saha. I
could not reach Mr. Biswajit Pal (as referred by Ms. Maitra). There are
two aspects to it - challanges with getting work done by your own choice
of contracters. I understand this is an issue and not the concern of my
email. What concerns me is rampant presence of outsiders/locals inside
the complex. If I understood Ms. Maitra, that these folks need to be
allowed inside because BDCL has to do business in Rajathart/NewTown
area. But then, this means that anyone just by saying "we are locals"
can enter the premise. This is absolutely ridiculous. If this is the
scenario then let us get rid of entire security setup. Let locals roam
around as they wish. This is a serious security issue that need to be
resolved ASAP.

With this email, I pass on entire accountability and responsibility of
apartment owners to BDCL within the complex premises.

I request and suggest that BDCL takes up this instance very seriously
and put up a very good security perimeter and process for the entire
complex with immediate effect. Looking forward to quick response and
effective resolution.

Thanks,
Joydeep Sarkar
